How to measure head for a wig

We always measure the size before buying clothes or shoes online, so it is also very important to measure the size of the head before buying a wig. If we want to buy a wig with a suitable size and a comfortable wig, then our top priority should be to know how to measure the wig head correctly. Correctly measuring the size of our head is conducive to choosing a comfortable wig suitable for us.

Average wig size: between 54 cm and 57 cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches) – we can say that about 90% of customers is average wig size, so if your wig head size is within this measurement range, you will More options.

Small wig cap size: 51 cm to 54 cm (20 to 21.25 inches). Wigs of small size usually need to be made temporarily.

Large wig cap size: greater than 57 cm (22.5 to 24 inches). At present, we only have a few large wigs.

Here's what to (never) do when wearing your wig !

1.Shampoo with regular shampoo : Most regular shampoo and conditioner designed for regular hair will weigh down your wig’s strands, causing the opposite of bouncy

2.Use a curling iron or blow dryer without heat protector : Heat tools are extra-abrasive to the delicate strands of natural hair wigs and can cause permanent damage.

3.Brush with a regular brush: Regular brushes and combs stretch the fibers and permanently damage a wig’s delicate strands. Not only does that disrupt the integrity of the style, it can cause hair to fall out of the wig.

4.Put Your Wig on a Styrofoam head: Forcing a wig onto a Styrofoam head stretches the cap and damages the foundation of your ‘do.Instead, drape it on collapsible hangers which’ll help your wig maintain its designated shape without warping the size.

5.Scrub when washing or drying: Cleanliness might be next to godliness, but scrubbing your wig is the opposite of good. We know it’s tempting, especially if you’re used to shampooing regular hair with gusto. But a wig’s intricate construction can come undone if you use too much force.

6.Swim in your wig without washing after swimming : Chlorine and saltwater are both triggers of bad-hair-day blues. While chlorine is packed with disinfectants that strip hair of its silky sheen, saltwater draws moisture out of hair, leaving it brittle and dry.

7.Barbecue: Human hair wigs won’t necessarily melt, they can become frizzy, brittle, and dry when exposed to heat.

How To Wash Your Wig  

If you wear your wig everyday, it is advisable to wash between 2-3 weeks if not wash after a month of usage.

Keeping your human hair wig clean and well-maintained is essential for ensuring its longevity and natural appearance. Follow these simple steps to wash your wig properly.

What You'll Need:
- Wide-tooth comb or wig brush
- Mild shampoo (specifically formulated for human hair wigs)
- Conditioner (for human hair wigs)
-Towel
- Wig stand or mannequin head
- Spray bottle for curly wig (optional)
- Lukewarm water

 Step-by-Step Instructions

 1.Detangle Your Wig
- Gently comb or brush your wig with a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots to remove any tangles.

2. Prepare the Shampoo Solution
- Mix a small amount of shampoo with lukewarm water in a bowl . Use a shampoo that is specifically designed for human hair wigs to avoid damaging the hair.

3. Wash the Wig
- Submerge the wig in the water and gently swish it around. If using a spray bottle, spray the shampoo solution onto the wig.
- Gently massage the shampoo into the wig's hair from roots to ends. Avoid scrubbing or twisting the hair as it can cause tangling and damage.

 4. Rinse the Wig
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove all the shampoo. Ensure that the water runs in the direction of the hair to prevent tangling.

5. Condition the Wig
- Apply conditioner to the wig, focusing on the ends of the hair. Avoid the cap area to prevent the conditioner from loosening the knots of the wig.
- Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

6. Blot Dry
- Gently blot the wig with a towel to remove excess water. Do not rub or wring the hair as it can cause damage.

 7. Dry the Wig
- Place the wig on a wig stand or mannequin head to air dry. Ensure that it is placed in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Optional: Use a wig-specific leave-in conditioner or detangler spray to maintain softness and manageability.

 8. Style the Wig
- Once the wig is completely dry, you can style it as desired. Use heat styling tools on a low setting if necessary, but always use a heat protectant spray to prevent damage.

Tips for Maintaining Your Human Hair Wig
- Wash your wig every 8-10 wears or as needed.
- Store your wig on a wig stand or in a silk bag to maintain its shape and prevent tangling.
- Avoid excessive heat styling to prolong the life of your wig.
- Use products specifically designed for human hair wigs to avoid damage.

By following these steps, you can keep your human hair wig looking beautiful and natural for longer. Regular maintenance and gentle care are key to preserving the quality and appearance of your wig.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery on items that are:

∙ ✅ In original packaging

∙ ✅ Have not been washed, cut, or styled

Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on wigs that have been worn, washed, altered, or removed from their packaging without inspection.

Exchanges

We gladly offer exchanges within 14 days of delivery for a different length, texture, or style  as long as the item is in its original unworn condition. Custom orders are not eligible for exchange.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you received a damaged, defective, or wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will make it right immediately. 📸

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs and custom fee are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the 10% processing fee  will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
